UKIP: The EFD supports EU interference in Gaza

You can't teach an old dog new tricks, or so they say. Apparently this old adage applies to old Nazis as well.

UKIP's EFD group in the European Parliament has tabled a motion for a resolution. Unlike UKIP, the other parties all want to make the EU work, and they want to mould it in their own image. So whilst the group generally goes its own eccentric way, it sure as hell could not resist a bit of Jew-baiting as soon as they opportunity arose!

The European Parliament is notable for its anti-Israeli bias, and so the recent tragic killing of Turkish Human Aid activists gave them a chance to come out in force.

The EFD group, according to the motion it presented to Parliament this week:

"Regrets the tragic outcome of the Israeli Defense Forces operation and calls on the Israeli authorities for an immediate, full and impartial inquiry into the events and the circumstances surrounding them, as stated by the Vice-President of the Commission/ High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy; extends its condolences to families of the victims; welcomes Israel's decision to open the investigations to European and US experts"

The EFD group also:

"Takes note of Israel's intent to ease the flow of goods crossing its own border with Gaza; supports the establishment of an EU inspection teams at Gazan checkpoints to monitor the supply of humanitarian aid"

Oh Really! The EFD group wants the EU to control checkpoints in Gaza, does it? Exactly how does that get Britain out of the EU, Mr Farage?
